Back to the Suburbs

Arrived back to my humid little apartment yesterday afternoon after a redeye flight from China. It's good to dig my feet in the ground again (or at least the cement of suburban Tokyo). Before my trip to Kunming, I spent a very busy month with Jason. Here are some highlights from my time in Quebec/New York:

Aug. 19th: Potluck party in memory of Dad, Jeanne-Mance Park, Montreal. Around 25 people gathered, bringing violins, poetry and plenty of food. During my trip home I also chose a grave site for my papa in a quiet corner of Massawippi Cemetery.

Aug. 25th: My brother Alexander's wedding, Massawippi, Quebec. Congratulations Alex and Dana!

Aug. 29th: I turned 24!

Sept. 2nd: My nephew and Godson, Matthias' baptism in Wallkill, New York.
