Brain Cramps

Alas, it's the end of the semester: grading time. Last week, I had my students practice storytelling. In pairs, they were asked to write a short paragraph using a particular set of words. Below are some of the more hilarious results:

1) By Hide and Yuuki M.

First time John lived the USA. He loved all over the world girl. He used money because played girl.
Then. He had many children. But, He don't thank happy. Becouse he had wall with his children.
Next evening day. He changed his mind. He stroked his children hair with his fingers. Many children was very happy. They rub heads together.
Finally, Many people had smile.

2) By Saori and Marina

First John a lot of go on a round-the-world trip. It's way was hard. Because silence evening he fell floor. Then he lost his arm and feet. Next he heart stopped. So, he saw a kind docter. Bad he died. At the moment of his death every bady cried. Finally this fact was surprising news.

3) By Yuuki S. and Tatsurou

First. My father looked the book in the my room. My father name was Mr. TAKA. Then. The book is many girl body. Next He sat chair, near the window. One day He went to my friends house. At evening He paid money in the bed. Finally His eyes closed. He slept

4) By Keina and Yumi

First woman lived in London. She name is Meary. She was Peater's wife.
Mrs. Meary closed eyes in bed. Then this time was very silence.
Next robber was in to my kitchin. He bloke kitchen's window. He was thief stole some money from the safe. He ran away not daring to look back He have a foul mouth.
